தி.மு.க. ஆட்சிக்கு வந்தபின் நிர்வாக ரீதியாக அ.தி.மு.க. ஆட்சியில் மேற்கொண்ட சீரமைப்புகளை ரத்து செய்து புதிதாக சீரமைப்பு நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு உள்ளது. இதன்படி தொடக்க கல்வி நிர்வாகத்துக்கு மாவட்டம் தோறும் தனி கல்வி அதிகாரி தனியார் பள்ளிகள் அனைத்தையும் கண்காணிக்கவும் கட்டுப்படுத்தவும் தனி அதிகாரிகள் நியமிக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றனர். இந்த வகையில் தொடக்க பள்ளிகளை நிர்வகிக்கும் வட்டார வள அதிகாரியான பி.இ.ஓ. பதவியில் 81 இடங்களை நிரப்ப கடந்த வாரம் பதவி உயர்வு கவுன்சிலிங் நடத்தப்பட்டது.
