இலவச உணவு தானிய திட்டம் ஓராண்டு நீட்டிப்பு - நாடு முழுவதும் இன்று முதல் அமல்

 கொரோனா ஊரடங்கு காலத்தில் கடந்த 2020 ஏப்ரல் மாதம் கரீப் கல்யாண் அன்ன யோஜனா திட்டத்தை மத்திய அரசு அமல்படுத்தியது. இத்திட்டத்தின்படி ஏழை குடும்பத்தின் ஒவ்வொரு உறுப்பினருக்கும் ரேஷனில் தலா 5 கிலோ கோதுமை அல்லது அரிசி இலவசமாக வழங்கப்படுகிறது. கடந்த செப்டம்பரில் இத்திட்டத்தை டிசம்பர் 31 வரை 3 மாதங்களுக்கு மத்திய அரசு நீட்டித்தது. இந்த சூழலில் பிரதமர் மோடி தலைமையில் கடந்த சில நாட்களுக்கு முன் ஒன்றிய அமைச்சரவை கூட்டம் நடைபெற்றது. 

இதில், கரீப் கல்யாண் அன்ன யோஜனா என்ற இலவச உணவு தானிய திட்டத்தை அடுத்தாண்டு டிசம்பர் வரை நீட்டிக்க ஒப்புதல் வழங்கப்பட்டது. இதன்மூலம் ஏற்கனவே அறிவிக்கப்பட்ட நீடிப்பு நேற்றுடன் (டிச. 31) முடிவடைந்து, இன்று (திங்கட்கிழமை) முதல் புதிய நீடிப்பு அமலுக்கு வருகிறது. இதுகுறித்து மத்திய நுகர்வோர் விவகாரம், உணவு மற்றும் பொது விநியோக அமைச்சக அதிகாரிகள் கூறுகையில், 'தேசிய உணவு பாதுகாப்பு சட்டத்தின்படி, அரிசி, கோதுமை தானியங்கள் தகுதியான பயனாளிகளுக்கு இலவசமாக வழங்கப்படும். 

ஜனவரி 1, 2023 முதல் டிசம்பர் 31, 2023 வரை இந்த திட்டம் அமலில் இருக்கும். இலவச உணவு தானிய திட்டத்தை முறையாக செயல்படுத்த 18 நோடல் அதிகாரிகள் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர். இலவச உணவு தானியத் திட்டம் இன்று முதல் அனைத்து நியாயவிலைக் கடைகளிலும் கிடைக்கும். இத்திட்டத்தின் மூலம் சுமார் 81.35 கோடி மக்கள் பயனடைவார்கள்; இதற்காக ஒன்றிய அரசு ரூ .2 லட்சம் கோடி செலவிடும்' என்று கூறினர்.

  The central government implemented the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana in April 2020 during the Corona lockdown period. Under this scheme, each member of a poor family is given 5 kg of wheat or rice in the ration free of cost. Last September, the central government extended the scheme for three months till December 31. In this context, the Union Cabinet meeting was held a few days ago under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

In this, approval was given to extend the free food grain scheme called Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana till December next year. With this the already announced extension ends yesterday (Dec 31) and the new extension comes into effect from today (Monday). Officials of the Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution said, 'According to the National Food Security Act, rice and wheat grains will be provided free of cost to eligible beneficiaries.

The scheme will be valid from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023. 18 Nodal Officers have been appointed to properly implement the Free Food Grain Scheme. The free food grain scheme will be available at all fair-price stores from today. About 81.35 crore people will be benefited through this scheme; They said that the Union Government will spend Rs 2 lakh crore for this.
