 மருத்துவப் பயிற்சியில் உள்ள முதுநிலை மருத்துவ மாணவிகள், மகப்பேறு விடுப்பில் செல்லும்போது அவா்களுக்கு ஊக்கத்தொகை அளிக்கத் தேவையில்லை என்று தேசிய மருத்துவ ஆணையம் (என்எம்சி) தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இதுகுறித்து வெளியிடப்பட்ட செய்திக் குறிப்பு: மகப்பேறு விடுப்பு கால ஊக்கத் தொகை குறித்த பல்வேறு சந்தேகங்களும், கேள்விகளும் என்எம்சிக்கு வந்தடைந்தன. 

அதனடிப்படையில் விளக்கம் அளிக்க வேண்டிய அவசியம் உள்ளது. அதன்படி, முதுநிலை மருத்துவ மாணவிகள் மகப்பேறு விடுப்பில் செல்வதற்கான நெறிமுறைகள் மாநில அரசு விதிகளுக்குள்பட்டவை. அவா்கள் பணியில் இருக்கும்போது ஊக்கத் தொகை வழங்க வேண்டும். அதேவேளையில் விடுப்பில் செல்லும்போது அது பொருந்தாது.
