Samagra Shiksha Recommendations
for Reducing Data Entry Workload in the EMIS Module- regarding. EMIS module
review by Secretary, School Education Department meeting held on 6.12.2024 With
reference cited, a committee was constituted to evaluate current data entry
processes and propose solutions aimed at reducing the workload of Headmasters
and teachers. The following modules are removed / reduction in the data entry of
Teacher Professional Development (TPD) In Person, Atal Lab, Register Module
(Finance Register, Establishment Register, School Donor Register, Communication
Register, Petitions and Proceedings Register, Scholarships and Student
Incentives Register, Teacher Timetable, Monthly Reports, and EB Details for
Schools), Student-Level Data Entry for Schemes and Reading Program (Vaasippu
Iyakkam), Library Module, Kalai Thiruvizha, Formative and Summative Assessments
(FA & SA), Schemes and Textbooks, House System and Clubs, IFHRMS and Employee
Data, Potential Dropout Tracking, Timetable Management, Digital Infrastructure,
School Profile Module, Hitech Lab Assessment and Health Screening Questionnaire.

The proposed changes are expected to be integrated into the EMIS module and
made effective for teachers and Headmasters by 28th February 2025. This letter
